Hi Guys, I just bought this ipod touch.
I do not have alot of money so I really do
my research before buying a product. This
Amazon deal was by far the best. They
provide bargain prices and it comes from an
online you can trust retailer.

    Thumbs up Sony Ericsson Satio

I bought a kindle six months
ago. In that time alone the
amount I have saved on not
    buying books is about the
    purchase price. The Kindle
has basically paid for its self.
    Simply put, it's the best
    dedicated ebook reader you
    can buy.
Sony Ericsson has finally launched the Satio, the phone it showed off back in February under the guise of Idou, packing the best of all its brands into one phone. But can the sheer range of gadgetry and a new OS be enough to lure customers back to the brand?

Not content with being leaders in cameraphone and multimedia technology, Sony Ericsson has decided to put the two Walkman and Cybershot brands together in the new Satio. This means an industry-leading camera, a full range of multimedia playback options and it's based on Symbian S60 5th edition to boot.

The overall feel of the handset is odd. Thanks to the sheer range of camera-related gadgetry on board the rear of the phone has a massive camera section bolted to the back, which makes it a little chunky.

But weirdly the phone didn't feel heavy at all – in fact we thought the battery needed to be put in, it was so light, but the power pack was snugly under the cover, so this is pretty impressive.

The Satio feels OK in the hand – it's not snug, but the 3.5-inch touchscreen (although sadly resistive rather than capacitive) is well positioned, and most of the functions are within a thumb's reach.

The front of the phone is very minimal – it's got a call, hang up and menu key, and that's about it. We would have quite liked to see a cancel/back button too, but that obviously wasn't on Sony Ericsson's agenda with the new Symbian OS it's packing

Two of the UK’s largest mobile phone retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U have stopped selling Satio Sony Ericsson mobile phones, because many users find its phone system models are flawed, some features can’t work properly. Mobile phone users in the relevant forums, when users use the new phone to receive text messages,it shows only the sender number is not displayed, there are users that play mobile phone ring tones can not be normal or it will suddenly crash.

Sony Ericsson said that it is a mobile system design flaws, but mobile phone system defects can not be repaired by installation of patches,it must be repaired by mobile phone brush machine, they will be in the next two to three weeks, come up with solutions. There is no other country reported on the Sony Ericsson mobile phone Satio system deficiencies .

I finally got a free Satio (Free after rebate card and rebate throughout 2 years contract period). People all asked me why not getting a Iphone. I told them because my may goal is to get a camera phone, and Satio's 12.1 Megapixel rocks! After I really develop the photos, I could tell if this is really comparable to a normal digital camera or not.
Satio is on my hands for 2 weeks now. Still getting use to the touch screen. If you are a App+game person, make sure to get an app which will sign your new "unsign" app.
Besides the camera slide cover is metal, all the other part of the phone is plastic, which make the phone a lot lighter (compare to my previous smaller but heavier C902), although may make it looks a bit flimsy.
Cons: My phone already experienced freeze for a few times, which the only solution is to restart the phone. Other then that, I still like my Red Satio!
